The Omnia Practice at Yardley Green Medical Centre aims to provide the best possible health care for patients in a friendly and efficient environment. Our continuing development is very important to us and we welcome comments and feedback in all areas of our service.
We are a busy and progressive GP Training practice located in Bordesley Green, East Birmingham. The main objective of this website is to give information on the services provided by our practice. We hope this will be helpful to both our current patients and others who may be looking to register with us.
We currently have 4 vacancies at the practice:
Salaried GP, Contraception and Sexual Health Lead Nurse, Practice Nurse and a housekeeper

Flu clinics are now being held in surgery.
If you are over 65 or have a chronic disease, please book your flu injection with reception
Omnia is a training practice for doctors who wish to become GPs.
We are delighted to be able to welcome a new doctor who will be working with us to gain experience in general practice. Dr Yoldosh Wafi (male) joins us for a year.
He will be offering appointments for consultations but will also be joining our doctors and nurses in surgery time to expand his knowledge and experience of the sort of conditions that are seen in the community.
You may be asked to help support his training by participating in joint surgeries or video surgeries on occasions and we hope that you will be able to participate in this process. If you are not happy to do so then just have a word with the receptionist before the appointment. Some of the Registrar surgeries are only for those patients who are happy to be videoed – we use such recordings ONLY for training and they are destroyed shortly after they have been watched and analysed. Such training aims to increase the experience of our GP registrars and make better doctors!
Thank you for your help.
We have joined InterCare – Medical Care for Africa – They are a unique charity that recycles and sends GP patient returned medicines to Africa which would otherwise be sent to landfill.
Please look at their website to see how the process works and what drugs are acceptable.
