New GP Registrars join the practice – August 2014

Omnia is a training practice for doctors who wish to become GPs.

We are delighted to be able to welcome a new doctor who will be working with us to gain experience in general practice. Dr Yoldosh Wafi (male) joins us for a year.

He will be offering appointments for consultations but will also be joining our doctors and nurses in surgery time to expand his knowledge and experience of the sort of conditions that are seen in the community.

You may be asked to help support his training by participating in joint surgeries or video surgeries on occasions and we hope that you will be able to participate in this process. If you are not happy to do so then just have a word with the receptionist before the appointment. Some of the Registrar surgeries are only for those patients who are happy to be videoed – we use such recordings ONLY for training and they are destroyed shortly after they have been watched and analysed. Such training aims to increase the experience of our GP registrars and make better doctors!

Thank you for your help.
