The Omnia Practice at Yardley Green Medical Centre aims to provide the best possible health care for patients in a friendly and efficient environment. Our continuing development is very important to us and we welcome comments and feedback in all areas of our service.
We are a busy and progressive GP Training practice located in Bordesley Green, East Birmingham. The main objective of this website is to give information on the services provided by our practice. We hope this will be helpful to both our current patients and others who may be looking to register with us.

Contraception and Sexual Health at Omnia for registered and non-registered Birmingham patients
OMNIA Practice welcomes patients who would like a Contraceptive Implant or Coil (IUD).
Patients who are registered with the practice or registered with another GP in Birmingham are welcome to call 773 3838 and speak to a member of our very experienced contraception team.
Implants last for up to 3 years and coils up to 10 years – its great contraception. Just give us a call to discuss the most effective methods of contraception. Specialist Sexual InfectionTesting and treatment is no longer available at Omnia as a result of cuts by Birmingham City Council. Registered patients are welcome to discuss problems with our specialist contraception team but you may be advised to seek treatment at one of the Birmingham specialist clinics. Patients who are not registered with the practice can no longer be seen for sexual infection testing. .
Healthy Friends project provides individuals with mentors who are carefully matched to fulfil their goals and work with them to lead:
Feel more connected and engaged within their communities
Improve mood and confidence
Increase social networks
Feel motivated to self-manage their health and well-being needs going forward.
Our Healthy Friends mentor will take clients needs and abilities into consideration and work with them at their own pace when identifying goals and action plans and support them to attend social activities to improve their quality of life.
If you wish to help shape the practice services please join the patient group, all are welcome.
We meet once every couple of months to discuss issues that are facing the practice and how we can serve or patients better, you can also be part of the virtual group, this means that you will receive regular updates on what is happening at the practice.
