The Omnia Practice at Yardley Green Medical Centre aims to provide the best possible health care for patients in a friendly and efficient environment. Our continuing development is very important to us and we welcome comments and feedback in all areas of our service.

We are a busy and progressive GP Training practice located in Bordesley Green, East Birmingham. The main objective of this website is to give information on the services provided by our practice. We hope this will be helpful to both our current patients and others who may be looking to register with us.

Patient Group

Would you like to play a part in shaping our services here at Omnia?  Then your seat awaits you on our Patient Group.  The Patient Group works with us to improve communication and ensure that the services we offer meet the needs of our patients.  We would like to say congratulations and a big thank you to Mr. Manny Hussain, who has accepted the post of Chairperson.  If you are interested in becoming a member of the Patient Group, then please speak to our Reception Manager or email us.

Health Trainers at Omnia

If you would like support and a ‘nudge’ in the right direction to improving your personal health, then just pick up a form at Reception and complete the details. Our Health Trainer attends the practice on Friday mornings and can offer you:
-  Your own personal Health Plan.
-  Up to 6 sessions with your own Health Trainer.
-  Support , encouragement and motivation along the way.
-  Appropriate referrals to specialist services.
-  Information about other local services that can help you achieve your personal goal.
-  Appointment times to suit you.

Organ Donation

Have you joined the organ donation register yet? See the NHS Organ Donation website or pick up a leaflet in the practice.

Health Visitors

The last month has seen a change in the times of our Health Visitor drop in clinic. The ‘drop in’ clinic will now only be on Thursday 1.00pm – 3.00pm. Health Visitors and their support Staff Nurse and Community Nursery Nurses are available to give information and advice about the needs of your baby and young children.

GP Training Course at Omnia

Congratulations!

Congratulations to Dr. Madeleine Trent who recently gave birth to a baby boy and is now on maternity leave from the practice. We wish her well and look forward to her speedy return in 2012.
